The nearest railway station to Srinagar is Jammu Tawi Railway Station, which is about 290 km away from Srinagar. The train connecting Srinagar to Jammu is still being made and we will update the info once the rail project is complete.

By Road:

Srinagar is well-connected by road to major cities in North India. The National Highway 1-A connects Srinagar to Jammu, which further connects it to other major cities. You can hire a taxi or take a bus from Jammu to Srinagar. There are also several private and state-run buses that operate between Srinagar and other cities in the region.
